Tubal Pregnancy Following Laparoscopic Sterilization

Abstract

|
A 9-year retrospective study was conducted of Chonnam University Hospital from January 1977 through December 1985. During this period of time, there were 716 tubal pregnancies. 54 of the ectopic pregnancies were in patients who had previously undergone a laparoscopic tubal sterilization. The 16. 3 and 17.9 % in the past each 2 years indicates the increasing importance of previous sterilization as an etiological agent in ectopic pregnancy.
